2016年11月13日-16日，The Asian Conference on Experimental Mechanics (ACEM) 2016在韩国济州举行。龚兴龙教授带领博士生闫立勋、王胜、冯佳宾、逄浩明、何倩云参加了会议。龚老师应邀作了Keynote Lecture: " Functional Rheological Materials and Experimental Characterization of Their Mechanical Property”， 闫立勋作了Oral报告" Experimental Study of Nonlinear Vibration Isolation Characteristics of A Geometric Ant-Spring Isolator”， 王胜作了Oral报告" The investigation of sensitive shear stiffening polymer/Kevlar fabric with excellent safeguarding property”， 冯佳宾作了Oral报告" Magnetic Sensitive Flexible Sensor Based on Magnetorheological Elastomers Film” ，逄浩明作了Oral报告" Magnetic and Strain Dependent Electrical Resistance of Magnetorheological Plastomer” ，何倩云作了Oral报告" Experimental Analysis of Mechanical Property for Shear Stiffening Gel Strengthened Shear Thickening Fluid-Kevlar Fabric Composites”。
龚兴龙教授是这次会议的International Committee委员，会议期间参加了Committee会议，代表中国实验力学专委会申请举办2018年的亚洲实验力学大会获得了通过。2017年的亚洲实验力学大会将在印度尼西亚巴厘岛举办。
