2012年7月1日-6日，电磁流变国际盛会the 13th International Conference on Electrorheological Fluids and Magnetorheological Suspensions (ERMR 2012)在土耳其Gazi University举行。宣守虎副教授带领博士生郭朝阳、范艳层、廖国江参加了会议。宣老师作了报告"A Versatile Magnetorheological Material Based On The Phase-Changed Polymer”，郭朝阳作了报告"Normal forces of MR fluids”，范艳层作了报告"Investigation on the controllability of the Magnetorheological elastomer damping properties”，廖国江作了报告"Damping Compensated Magnetorheological Elastomer Vibration Control Device”。
龚兴龙教授是这次会议的International Advisory Committee委员，因为时间冲突未能参会，由宣守虎老师代表作了大会邀请报告"Study on magnetorheological plastomers”，并由宣老师代表主持了7月3日的"Session 2.2. Applications of ER-MR materials”。
